Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Blondies

I'm back with another baking post! This time I have a really simple, but tasty peanut butter blondies recipe to share with you. I've never made blondies before, but after trying this recipe out, I'll definitely be making many more!

What you'll need...
55g Butter
175g Brown Sugar
55g Peanut Butter
1 Egg
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
185g Self Raising Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/8 Bicarbonate Soda
Chocolate Chips (as many as you like)

Method:
1) Preheat the oven to gas mark 4.
2) Grease and line a baking tray.
3) Melt the butter and sugar in a saucepan over a hob. Remove, and add the peanut butter.
4) Sift the flour, baking powder and bicarbonate soda into a mixing bowl.
5) Add the egg to the butter and sugar mixture once cooled.
6) Add the vanilla extract and stir.
7) Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and combine to form a thick batter.
8) Now fold in about half of your chocolate chips.
9) Put the batter in the pan and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top, pressing them in slightly.
10) Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until golden brown.
11) Once out of the oven, allow to cool in the pan before removing and slicing into squares.

I hope you enjoyed this recipe, stay around for next week's! :)
